Jo Westgate

Jo Westgate is an Artist and Printmaker based in rural Northumberland. She uses a variety of techniques including Drypoint, Etching, Aquatint, and Relief Printing (Wood and Linocut).

Since 2001 Jo has kept a 'visual diary', recording at least one sketch a day of life with two small children. This material is the basis for a forthcoming book, written by Jo and illustrated with watercolour versions of selected sketches.

Courses

Jo is running two inspiring day courses at The Garden Station, Langley (near Hexham) in 2011. They are 'Wood and Lino-cut Printing' on Wednesday 7th September and 'Christmas Cards' on Saturday 12th November. For details please go to The Garden Station's courses page.
